the makers festival

 september 19th, 2015

marked the inaugural Makers Festival held at Beachview Farms in Manahawkin. Dozens of talented handmade, vintage, and food vendors descended on a patch of land tucked into mainland suburbia along with live music, a hammock garden, and free yoga. The hosts and creative team worked tirelessly for ten months during the festival's planning stage and spent forty eight hours transforming a working organic farm into what would become The Makers Festival. An estimated three thousand festival goers helped make September 19th a success for all those involved.

Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback from vendors and attendees alike, Dani, Jeannine, and Erin unanimously decided to make The Makers Festival an annual event and jumped right into planning Makers 2.0.
